New Bandai Namco Patent May Hint at TEKKEN 8 Tutorial Mode

While the development of TEKKEN 8 is currently unconfirmed, a new patent from Bandai Namco may suggest that a new feature is in the works for the next sequel in the franchise. The
patent looks to be a successor to TEKKEN 7's "My Replay & Tips" feature introduced in Season 3, providing players with recommended counterattacks, punishments, and more onscreen data within Practice mode or possibly a future Tutorial mode.

In the upcoming September 21st update for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, players will be able to get their hands on two Marvel Versus Series-inspired costumes. Capcom shared some new HD
screenshots of Rose's Ruby Heart costume and Akuma's Cyber Akuma costume. Interestingly, both costumes have some extra detail packed in, such as Ruby Heart's anchor and Cyber Akuma's wings that appear during certain special moves.

announced he is leaving Bandai Namco after 25 years working with the company. On Twitter, Okubo announced Aug. 31st was officially his last day at Bandai Namco and thanked fans for supporting the many games he has worked on. Okubo said he will still be working in the gaming industry and will begin working at
a Shibuya-based company in the coming weeks.
