Goldlewis Dickinson is STRIVE's 1st DLC Character

  

Tonight, Arc System Works announced and revealed the first DLC character for Season 1 of Guilty Gear -STRIVE-. First appearing in STRIVE's story mode, Goldlewis Dickinson, "The Secretary of Absolute Defense," is the right hand of president Colin Vernon and formerly of Erica Bartholomew. Goldlewis Dickinson becomes playable next Tuesday on July 27th, 2021 for Season Pass holders. The individual DLC (for non-Season Pass holders) goes live on Friday, July 30th. The end of the trailer outlines the Season Pass 1 roadmap for STRIVE. Following the arrival of Goldlewis on July 27, a second DLC character will be revealed and released in August 2021. A third new character will join the roster sometime this year, followed by 2 new characters + 2 new stages and "Another Story" coming in 2022.

On Twitter, Arc System Works announced Guilty Gear -STRIVE- sales have hit 500,000 units worldwide. They also announced the date for the first DLC character reveal July 20th, 2021 (PST). To celebrate the 500k milestone, ASW also released new artwork by Kenta Asano.
