 Review based on Steam version

First Impression: OVER 25 YEARS after the original release of Warzard / Red Earth... an entire quarter century later... Capcom finally released a localized console version! As a reminder, for nearly 2 decades, there was literally no way for fans outside of Japan to experience this game (without going through the effort of getting a particular emulator to work). On that note, the timing of the release is somewhat ironic, as emulation in recent years has made it possible to play Red Earth. However, with an authentic port of the arcade version, Practice Mode and other great features, Capcom Fighting Collection is perhaps the definitive way to experience the game.

For me, Red Earth is definitely the star of the show. However, paired with all 5 main installments to the Darkstalkers series, along with Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition, Cyberbots, Pocket Fighter (Super Gem Fighter), and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo... with solid Rollback online modes for all 10 games... Capcom Fighting Collection is a very attractive and must-have compilation highlighting some of the most rare and underrated Capcom gems.

Worth mentioning, Pocket Fighter and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo feature a variety of Red Earth characters and cameos, so it's perfectly fitting for Red Earth to be in the collection. "Yeah, that makes sense!" For the first ever home version of Red Earth alone, it's worth a buy! Consider the fact that all of the games have excellent online, training options, and cool features / unlockables? Nuff said. Capcom Fighting Collection is simply a must-own for your platform of choice!.I can say that the Steam version has excellent matchmaking and smooth online!
