Choi busted out of jail along with Chang, but they bumped into someone much more dangerous than the police: Kim Kap Hwan. In his crusade for justice, Kim beat the poor convicts up until they agreed to use their skills for good instead of evil. They eventually join Kim in the KOF tournament to form the Korea Team. Ever since, they have tried to find a way to escape, but never succeeded. Some video game characters seem designed specifically to be "annoying". Choi is one of those. Every fighting game in the 90's needed a weird-looking "freak" design to stir things up. Choi is definitely that design for KOF, but IMO he's such an outcast that he fails entirely at fitting into the roster. I think the early KOF devs just wanted to make a character that new players would "remember".... "Hey, isn't KOF that one game with the Freddy Krueger midget?" -_- Nothing against little people, but I despise Choi. So he's an ex-criminal who decided to do TKD with Kim??? So random. It doesn't even make sense. You win SNK, Choi is one of the ugliest FG characters of all time. He's also a pain to fight against - making players completely change their approach to the game, since many high attacks whiff. Unless you're some kind of troll, you probably don't like Choi either.  FUN FACT: I once received repeated emails from a dude with the real last name "Choi" asking me to REMOVE THIS PAGE from the internet because it's "offensive" to people with the last name Choi. He told me images of Choi "come up too often" in Google search and apparently that's my fault. ^o^ (100% True story.) Once again, I'm very sorry Mr. Choi... but I can't erase fighting game history on the basis that this character is so butt-ugly. lol.
