TEKKEN
8 Winter Update, Season 2 Announcement Trailer, Next Character Reveal at
The Game Awards

|
 During
the TWT 2024 Global Finals, Bandai Namco dropped a new TEKKEN
8
trailer revealing an upcoming Winter update (adding exciting new
Photo Mode and Customization options, a 30th Anniversary Fight Pass,
customize characters in main menu, new TEKKEN fan art panels & more) in
addition to a full Season 2 of new content arriving Spring 2024 —
which includes major
system and balance updates, new moves for all characters, and "the
biggest and best Tekken World Tour yet". Furthermore, Bandai Namco is
dropping another big announcement at this week's The Game Awards 2024
—
the final Season 1 character (joining the TEKKEN 8 roster this
Winter)! 
The
Game Awards takes place December 12th, 2024 (4:30pm PST) and
December 13th (1:30am CET / 9:30am JST). The fact that Bandai Namco
is saving this character reveal for The Game Awards bodes well for a potentially
major "surprise" they might have in store. Is Anna
Williams' arrival around the corner? (Hinted in the trailer.) Or could
Bandai Namco finally
be announcing a guest character for TEKKEN 8?

Fight Pass
content arriving in Early 2025. Confirmed free updates include 10 new character
customize slots per character (for a total of 20), new Fan Artwork
panels in-game, many new Photo mode features and options, customized
characters on the main menu, as well as Premium Fight Pass Avatar & Character
items, etc.
