Behind The Scenes Concept Artwork of SFV:CE's Ryu and Chun-Li Breast Cancer Charity Costumes

  

Earlier this month, Capcom announced and released two Street Fighter V: Champion Edition charity costumes for Chun-Li and Ryu in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Once again, SFV players can pick up either costume on PSN or Steam for $5.99 (or both for $9.99), with all proceeds (and a minimum of $25,000) going towards breast cancer research. Today, Capcom shared behind-the-scenes concept artwork for both of the charity costumes. Scroll down for a closer look at the design process behind each of the charity costumes. Capcom's goal is to raise $20,000 for the charity. You can learn more about the cause or donate directly to the charity on the official Tiltify website.

In related Street Fighter V: Champion Edition news, Capcom recently announced several new crossover costumes, including a Ruby Heart costume for Rose, Cyber Akuma costume for Akuma, and Power Stone's Falcon costume for Ken Masters.

Akuma Playable in Megaman X DiVE

Last month, Ryu and Chun-Li became playable characters in Capcom Taiwan's action-platform mobile game, Megaman X DiVE. Akuma was originally introduced as a non-playable boss character but is now playable as of this week. Check out Akuma's gameplay trailer and artwork, inside!

Iconic Street Fighter 2 Series Artist, Mick McGinty, Has Passed Away

If you grew up in the early 90's playing the Street Fighter 2 series, there's no doubt you've seen and probably purchased a video game with Mick McGinty's artwork on the cover. We're terribly sad to hear about the passing of Mick McGinty today.
