NEOGEO Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 Patch Adds Rewind Options and Easier Unlock Conditions

 On June 6th, SNK released a free patch for the Nintendo Switch compilation, NEOGEO Pocket Color Selection Volume 1. The goal of the new patch is to make it easier
for players to unlock secret characters in the game and adds Rewind functionality to the L/R buttons.
SNK Vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium in particular has 8 unlockable characters, which can take a while for players to grind and unlock one by one. SNK didn't clarify how unlocking is easier, but the patch notes below confirm the change. Below are the official patch notes via SNK Global

announced NEOGEO Pocket Color classic, SNK Vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium, is on the way to Nintendo Switch —
confirming our earlier report on the recent South Korean ratings board listing. The first ever fighting game crossover featuring playable SNK and Capcom characters under the same roof hits the Nintendo eShop later this month on Feb. 17, 2021 as part of the NEOGEO Pocket Color Selection.
