Bandai Namco and HIROAKI Share Early SoulCalibur 6 Concept Art & Designs for Grøh
|

 Over the past several months, Bandai Namco has shared some amazing early concepts and designs for veteran SoulCalibur VI characters. Today, lead artist and
designer Hiroaki Hashimoto (who you might remember worked on many old school KOF / SNK games) posted some of his early concepts for SC6 newcomer, Grøh. As you can see from this amazing batch of concept artwork, Grøh's design went through some drastic changes before his final version appeared in SoulCalibur 6. Scroll

Aspects of Grøh's early design made their way into boss character, Azwel.
|
|
We designed Grøh as a "leading character in a special agency". The direction of the cool face and hair was decided early on. We also took into account his hometown and made sure that his clothes looked like they were made for cold weather.
|
|
This is the final concept artwork of Grøh, designed by HIROAKI. He designed the Aval Organization's officer's combat uniform with some special features, such as arm armor that suppresses malfested power. It's a classic, stoic look.
