A student and
baseball player from Gorin High, Shoma is a short-tempered
and impulsive person who absolutely hates losing. Shoma's scrappy sense of justice causes a
confrontation wherever he goes.
He's been known to cause wild fights during games, and apparently that's why
they keep him on the team. He's also self-conscious of his height, and his
friend since childhood, Natsu,
always picks on him for it.
In Rival Schools: United By Fate, Shoma is on a search for the people
responsible for injuring his older brother and fellow baseball player, Shuuichi.
He joins Natsu and Roberto
when he finds they are doing similar investigations.
In Project Justice, Shoma ends up befriending Momo
after she was apparently attacked by Batsu.
Momo's insistence that he help her separates him from Natsu and Roberto for a
period of time. After helping her in a number of scuffles, Momo betrayed Shoma
and he finds out that she used him to help cause confusion among the various
schools. He eventually reunites with his friends and Natsu is the first to
