BIO:

When Iori Yagami loses control of his Orochi blood, he enters a stage called Riot of the Blood which allows him to become both stronger and faster. After the defeat of Orochi, it seems Iori has learned to control his Orochi blood. Due to the pact the Yasakani (Yagami) made with Orochi, all members of the Yasakani blood line are subject to entering the Riot of the Blood. This happens when someone has part Orochi blood in their veins.

Iori has entered the Riot of the Blood state before any KOF tournament took place. The first time he lost control of his Orochi blood during a tournament was in KOF '96. After Iori and Kyo defeated Goenitz, Mature and Vice appeared behind Iori and started talking to each other. When everyone left, Iori's blood started to boil and his head started to ache. He entered the Riot of the Blood and before they could react, and he supposedly killed the two assassins.

In the finals of the KOF '97 tournament, Iori began suffering from the same symptoms and he begand to spit blood. He entered the Riot of the Blood and attacked Team Japan, primarily Kyo. He eventually snapped out of it, and then helped the fight against Orochi. When Orochi was nearing defeat, the Riot of the Blood was once again triggered within Iori, in an attempt to make him turn against Kyo and Chizuru. This attempt backfired as Iori regained control of his body and attacked Orochi, holding him by his throat, while Kyo delivered the final blow and Chizuru sealed him again.

Since Orochi was sealed, Iori's blood was under control until The King of Fighters XI. Due to Orochi's presence released by Those From the Past, Iori entered the Riot of the Blood once more and knocked out Shingo and Kyo, before having his Magatama stolen by Ash Crimson. He was free from this state entirely until willingly regaining the power back in KOF XIII.

From his ridiculous stance, to his insane battle cries... Orochi Iori is one crazy bastard. This version of Iori is a tad more insane and intimidating than the original Iori (and that's saying something). The Orochi version of Iori adds a mysterious new layer to Iori Yagami's original design, and provided some considerable "hype" to Iori as a character early on in the KOF series. While not a necessary part of Iori's design, Orochi Iori was a cool alternate version of Iori to use in several games. Personally, I prefer Iori's original form over this insane version. lol.

On a side note, if you play Card Fighters Clash, you should have a few "Wild Iori" cards in your deck... quite a powerful card against high HP characters. However, too many Orochi Iori cards in your deck might be a weakness against other strategies since he provides no SP. Also, careful not to Kurf yourself! lol. If you didn't understand anything in this paragraph, you missed out on one of the best card games ever. I'm sorry.
