BIO:

Gato has no concerns outside of besting anyone unfortunate enough to cross his path. In his Mark of the Wolves ending, a stranger saves Kain R. Heinlein from the crumbling mansion. Gato appears to know the stranger, but he is blinded before he can act. As the mansion falls, the stranger taunts Gato, telling him to start training in order to defeat him.

Gato appears to have a vision of his past and his father, and angrily swears vengeance. This insinuates that the stranger is connected to Gato's past (the stranger's outfit appears to resemble Gato's), but nothing has been officially confirmed. Gato also appears in the ending of Hotaru Futaba, who claims that he's her older brother and slaps him when he denies even knowing her. He then leaves her there, and Hotaru silently prays for Gato to come back to her and their father.

When it comes to fighting game characters, most of my all time favorites are badass traditional martial artists - those who speak louder with their techniques than actual dialogue. In Gato's case... he has a brutal, yet beautifully smooth fighting style. I pretty much would've been sold with that alone, but the cool thing about Gato is: He talks SHIT. LOL. You wouldn't expect it out of him, but he pretty much insults every other fighter he defeats in MOTW.  What a great recipe for a badass fighting game character. His fighting style and moveset is original & innovative and never has a dull moment. His traditional attire is somewhat simple, yet goes perfect with his design.

Gato is one of my personal favorites to use in Garou: MOTW and I was ecstatic to see him cross over to the KOF series (where he became a permanent addition to my team). ;) On a side note, Gato may have "possibly" been some of the inspiration for Feng Wei of Tekken fame. They share a few of some of the same moves and also resemble each other visually to some extent. Gato did come first, but Feng Wei is no "clone". On that note, I proudly use (and main) both Gato and Feng Wei in their respective games.
