Knowing that people are frightened of the beast-men's extreme fighting strength, Gado works to reconcile the misunderstandings between humans and beast-men as the United Nations high-commissioner. Gado himself has a sign of the mark.  Now he has flung off his fame and position to the enter the battlefield in the name of this cause. He is also Shina's foster father.

Gado is probably one of the coolest designs of the Bloody Roar series. For example, it's cool that his hair resembles a lion's mane. Unlike a few characters in the series, Gado actually resembles the animal he turns into. Makes sense. The devs got a bit silly with the idea in later installments, with characters not looking anything like the animals / creatures they turn into.

On the flipside, it seems like Gado retained his coolness mostly by copying other characters who were "hip" at the time... or "lit" like the Gen Z'ers like to put it. Anyhow, yeah... Gado needs to stop pretending to be Rugal in Bloody Roar 2. lol. He's not a total copycat design and has a few cool appearances even in the later games.
