BIO:

From Pacific High School, Boman is a counselor-in-training and a boxer. He tries not to lose his temper because he knows he could really hurt someone. When he does fight, his punches are a force to be reckoned with. He is also training to be a preacher and many of his moves feature some Christian imagery, mostly crosses.

In Rival Schools, Boman joins Roy and Tiffany in their investigation of the kidnappings, but somewhat reluctantly due to his non-violent nature. Like many others, he is captured and brainwashed by Justice High, and later saved by Taiyo High students. This event inspires Boman, and he decides to stay in Japan to better understand Japanese culture and bridge the gap between Japan and the US.

In Project Justice, Boman sets out to find the people responsible for disrupting an inter-school athletic competition. He is joined in the investigation by two Taiyo High students, Ran and Chairperson, and later his classmates Roy and Tiffany. At the end of Project Justice he stays in Japan with the goal of improving US and Japan relations.

The token black guy of the Rival Schools series, and respectably... a well-built boxer. ;) Yeah, Boman is definitely the Balrog of Rival Schools, and he's a cool character simply for that reason. However, Boman has a cool style of his own - both in terms of looks and fighting style details. Boman's not exactly an "orthodox" boxer and has a pretty interesting and unique moveset. A few of his animations are kinda goofy, but otherwise, Boman's a cool design who compliments the series.

Worth mentioning, I love the way Capcom artist "Edayan" draws Boman's fists in the artwork. The dude has epically HUGE fists. lol. You definitely don't wanna get punched by fists that big. It's an awesome way to artistically exaggerate the "strength" of the character, and it's cool to see those "Capcom style" exaggerated proportions still going strong after all these years. Boman is also a really fun character to use with certain teams in Rival Schools & Project Justice
