2XKO Alpha Lab Playtest Announced for August

First revealed as "Project L" nearly 5 years ago, 2XKO is an upcoming 2V2 fighting game by Riot Games based on the League of Legends series. This week, Riot Games announced a 2XKO closed "Alpha Lab Playtest" for August 2024, with sign-ups now live on the official site. The Alpha Lab Playtest will take place on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In a new video released yesterday, 2XKO Executive Producer Tom Cannon and Game Director Shaun Rivera discuss the upcoming closed alpha test with Sajam.

As this alpha test is meant to test online play and matchmaking, offline modes will not be available this time. Those accepted into the 2XKO alpha test will also receive one referral link to invite a friend to try out the game as well. The 2XKO closed alpha test takes place August 8th-19th, 2024 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Keep it here on The Fighters Generation for continued coverage and more 2XKO news.
