Project L Officially Named "2XKO", New Gameplay Trailer, 2025 Release Window Announced

  

Today, Riot Games announced the official title for their upcoming League of Legends-themed 2.5D tag team fighting game formerly known as Project L. The official name is "2XKO" and Riot Games confirmed their plan for a 2025 release window on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In addition to this news, Riot Games released a new Gameplay Trailer (below) announcing the 2XKO title update and demonstrating around 1 minute of tag team action. Producer Tom Cannon also dropped some new details in a separate video.
 

  
A second video featuring commentary from executive producer of Riot Games' upcoming fighting game, Tom Cannon, also dropped today. In this video, Cannon outlines what fans can expect from 2XKO in 2024 and 2025, hinting at upcoming physical location tests and at-home playtests, as well.
 

  
Additionally, the official site for 2XKO went live today and includes a link where visitors can sign up for future 2XKO playtests after completing a survey. Keep it here on The Fighters Generation for continued coverage and more 2XKO news.
