Fighter Trailer at The Game Awards 2024, VF5 R.E.V.O. Steam

 During
the Game Awards 2024, Sega revealed a short but sweet World
Premiere Trailer for
the next Virtua Fighter 3D fighting
game! Returning characters Akira
Yuki and Sarah
Bryant are briefly shown in gameplay in a lush environment. In a
cinematic, Akira breaks through a wall with his classic shoulder move,
hinting that environments will have destructible areas. Sega
announced a "Virtua Fighter Direct" presentation on December
13th (12:00 am EST) which will provide further details on the

Sega's 30-minute Virtua Fighter Direct presentation has
been added below.
Sega's 30-minute Virtua Fighter Direct presentation featured some great
commentary by Virtua Fighter's
original development team members along with special guests such as NVIDIA
Founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, and Chairman of Saudi eSports Federation,
Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al-Saud.
The presentation didn't reveal any specifics about the new title but did
provide a closer look (for a few seconds) at brand new character
models of
Akira
Yuki
and Sarah
Bryant.

During the presentation, Sega also revealed more details about Virtua
Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. and announced the game's release date — January 27th, 2025.
An open beta for VF5 R.E.V.O. is now available for download
on Steam and will be live for five days (starting today). A new video was
shown during VF Direct demonstrating new moves, balances changes, and updates coming to
R.E.V.O. and VF5: Ultimate Showdown
on PS4.

During last night's Virtua Fighter Direct presentation, Sega revealed a 30th
Anniversary Edition for Virtua
Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. featuring in-game bonus items, pre-production
materials, 30th Anniversary Music Selection with added tracks by legendary
Sega sound creator Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Legendary & Yakuza costume DLC
from Ultimate Showdown, and 30th Anniversary wallpaper set and
ranking titles. Once again, VF5 R.E.V.O. launches January 27th, 2025
on Steam with rollback netcode and new features.

Sega also revealed a special physical Collector's Edition of Virtua
Fighter 2 and VF5: Ultimate Showdown put together by Sega
and Limited Run Games (above). Pre-orders for these Collector's Editions are now
open on LimitedRunGames.com.
