 Last
year, SNK released Omega
Rugal as one of
KOF
XV's
special Boss Challenges. After defeating the ultra-powerful boss version
of the character, players unlock a special costume that they can then use
in offline mode. The second Boss Challenge arrival to The King of
Fighters XV is none other than classic King
of Fighter '96 boss, Goenitz.
SNK's latest KOF XV gameplay trailer showcases the returning
boss in action and announces his release date - June 20, 2023. As
previously announced, Goenitz is a 100% FREE DLC character joining the KOF
XV roster next Tuesday.

In addition to the arrival of Goenitz, KOF XV's June 20th update will
bring Crossplay to the title, uniting all player bases across PC,
PlayStation, and Xbox. Below is
another look at the most recent King of Fighters XV's Season
2 roadmap.
Following the arrival of Goenitz, Najd
will be the fourth paid DLC character of Season 2.
