Kim Kaphwan Gameplay Reveal Trailer

 A
longtime veteran of the Fatal Fury and KOF series, Kim
Kaphwan was a default selectable character in The
King of Fighters XIV but curiously did not appear in KOF
XV's
Season 1 roster. The TaeKwonDo expert will finally return as a paid DLC
character in KOF XV's Season 2 in Spring 2023. Tonight,
SNK dropped Kim Kaphwan's full reveal trailer for The King of Fighters XV,
displaying a familiar moveset and animations to what Kim had in the
prequel. However, Kim's new Climax Super Special Move in KOF XV — where he channels a fiery phoenix — is based on
his super move from the Real
Bout series (also appearing in KOF2002:
UM).

Kim Kaphwan's DLC will include his new KOF XV "black
and red" outfit in addition to his traditional old school TaeKwonDo
uniform that fans will recognize from previous titles. Both of Kim's
outfits are pictured in the first official screenshot directly below.

SNK hasn't yet specified a release date for Kim but the
Season 2 DLC character will become available sometime in Spring 2023.
The King of Fighters XV is currently available on PlayStation 5,
PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10, and Steam. Keep it here on
