Valentine Joins Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, Season 3 Updates Include
"TEAM OF 3" Mode

System Works announced today that returning character Elphelt
Valentine is now available in Guilty Gear -STRIVE-
along with a free Season 3 update. Guilty Gear -STRIVE-'s
Season Pass 3 contains Johnny,
Elphelt Valentine, and two upcoming (unannounced) characters, along with
two additional battle stages, the Season 3 Character Color Pack
(+Additional Colors #13 and #15),
and the new "TEAM OF 3" mode allowing 6 players
(two teams) to compete in
one match — coming in 2024.

During tonight's The
Game Awards 2023, Arc System Works debuted Elphelt's reveal trailer. After
watching her reveal trailer, scroll down to see Elphelt's official character artwork and
new HD screenshots. 
Elphelt's Guilty Gear -STRIVE- bio: Elphelt
is one of the Valentines created by the Universal Will. She loves animals
and nature and can't bear to see anyone alone. She will charge into any
problem head-first, shielded by impenetrable optimism.

(Elphelt Bio Continued) After the battle with the Universal Will, she takes on a position within
Illyria Castle, but is not able to keep up well with the work. Although no
one blames her for making mistakes, this very fact weighs on Elphelt, and
she runs off. What can she do to bring smiles to people's faces? Elphelt
finds the answer to her quandary in the form of a microphone. Her band,
Speothos Venaticus, is active on the scene to this day.

In addition to battle balance adjustments for all characters, Arc System
Works confirmed Potemkin
and Axl Low were given
brand new moves in Season 3 (shown in the official preview screenshots, below).

At the very end, Elphelt's reveal trailer offered a short preview of the upcoming "TEAM OF 3"
mode coming to Guilty Gear -STRIVE- in 2024. This mode pits six
players against each other at once. From Arc System Works: "Starting
in 2024, players can experience TEAM
OF 3, a new
3-player online versus mode which pits two teams against each other in the
same match." More details on the
TEAM OF 3 Team Battle mode coming soon.

As
usual, the end of the latest Guilty Gear -STRIVE- trailer also
provided a look at the latest Season Pass 3 Roadmap (below).
Elphelt Valentine becomes playable December 8th, 2023. After Johnny and
Elphelt Valentine, the next two characters of Season 3 will arrive in
2024.

In addition to the Season 3 Character Color Pack, the GGST
Season Pass 3 Exclusive Bonus: Additional Colors #13 to #15 will also be
added in today's update (available for download December 8th, 2023). Keep it here on The Fighters Generation for
