BlazBlue: Central Fiction Patch Notes

  

Arc System Works released a new patch for BlazBlue: Central Fiction on Steam. This update includes the Rollback Netcode implementation, along with several other notable updates, including: additional screen resolution support, new screen aspect ratio settings, higher quality intro movie, Spectator Mode improvements, a new version of the opening movie, reduced size of game assets (50 GB to 16 GB), and other bug fixes. 12/07 Change Log
- Reduced size of game assets from ~50 GB to ~16 GB
- GGPO Rollback netcode implemented
- Steam region lock is removed for Player Match and Ranked Match search results
- New version of opening video (improved bitrate)
- Additional screen resolution support
- New screen aspect ratio display settings (render option removed)
- Borderless screen mode implemented
 
*Hotfix 12/07: Resolved issue of network mode crashing when searching up too many results.
 
*Hotfix 12/08:
- Gacha system correctly displays text for player room item names.
- Palette#22 causing desyncs has been corrected for all characters.
- New area search filter.
 
*Patch 12/13:
- Hot-fix for synchronization issues for spectators partially.
- Players will not be stuck on "synchronizing" screen if a player can't join as a spectator in spectate-type rooms. In this case, an error message will appear and the players will be returned to the room.
- Hot-fix applied to character voice and sound effects that were not correctly played or being cut short during online matches.
- "Synchronizing" screen will now timeout after 20 seconds if the synchronization fails.
- Players of a different version will not match up with one another from this update onwards.
 
*Update 12/15:
Players are now able to enter the Lobby mode via the Network mode.
 
*Known issues:
- Working on spectate mode desyncs.

Baiken Announced for -STRIVE-

To close out CEO 2021 following the conclusion of the Guilty Gear STRIVE grand finals, a new teaser trailer from Arc System Works confirmed Baiken will return to the series as the 4th DLC character of Season Pass 1. Baiken's early reveal trailer doesn't show any gameplay yet, but does preview a new (and very fitting) Japan stage and some of her in-game cinematics.
