Jamie
is a Drunken Kung-Fu specialist who also uses dance inspirations in his
fighting style. This
self-styled Chinatown peacekeeper aspires to the example set by Yun
and Yang, the Twin Dragons. An expert
dancer, Jamie places justice and friendship above all else, defending his town
with martial skill. It was also revealed that Jamie considers Luke
to be a rival of sorts, and vice versa. According to Capcom, Jamie does not
drink alcohol from his flask but instead a "special drink".

The first
characters I thought of when I saw Jamie was Feng Wei
and Gato. I love martial arts-based characters
who keep traditional alive yet bring something entirely new! Unlike some
things...
Drunken Kung-Fu never goes out of style. However, Jamie here seems to be having WAY too
much fun with it (in a good way)! Drunken Kung Fu + Breakdancing? Two things
that don't usually go together, but Jamie makes it work beautifully. His
superbly well-animated moveset and vivid personality earn him a high score in my
book. Jamie is a great and clever successor to Yun, Yang,
and Lee as well.
Unlike some other recent 2D fighting game characters in this modern era who seem
"over-designed" and bored me in minutes... Jamie has depth to his
playstyle, as drinking more gives him access to more moves and bigger combos.
He's a perfect addition to Street Fighter and introduction to the "new
vibe" and new generation of SF6. Let's get back to actual FIGHTING,
shall we?
