Millia Rage

BIO:

Losing both of her parents when she was still a child, Millia was trained by a group of assassins to use her hair as weapon. Her conscience would not allow her to murder innocent people, and as the result, she left the organization. Being pursued by the assassins, she decided that it was more efficient to put an end to the organization than to run away from it. She entered the tournament to kill Zato, the leader of the organization. Her plan was technically a success and she did gain her freedom, but her feelings - the guilt of causing her former master to be overtaken by the shadow and the fear of having to confront him again - still troubled her. Finally, out of her agony came a conclusion: "I must finish him off."

Millia's original gimmick is that she uses her hair as a weapon... which was actually pretty original innovative to the fighting game universe when she debuted. Some of the things she can do with her hair (which seems to be alive) is definitely "over-the-top"... and that's exactly what the designers were going for with Guilty Gear designs.

Millia's visual design, however, was never as over-the-top as other characters in the series. She's the cool and calm type, and it works for her. In that regard, personality-wise, she reminds me of Chun-Li a bit. She is the original heroine of Guilty Gear, after all. (I think she's a good guy [gal] anyway). The evolution of Millia's outfit design and moveset over the years has been enjoyable and impressive. In my opinion she's outshined by many others in her series, but she's got a coolness to her moves and play-style that make her stand out.
