Lilith is a succubus,
like her sister, Morrigan. Lilith is the embodiment
of excess evil power. Evil that was once part of Morrigan at the time of
her birth, but was sealed by Berial the evil ruler, in order to protect
Morrigan from unavoidable self-destruction caused by the uncontrollable
nature of her superabundant power. After 300 years had passed, the evil
power became a soul in the sealed dark, and an individual who watches over
Morrigan.
Jedah asked Lilith to cooperate with
him in the collection of all the most valuable souls by worming his thoughts
into her mind. "Finally, I can have my own body!" In no time at all, Lilith
decides to aid Jedah in the making of his plan into a reality.

Even though Lilith
is a clone design of Morrigan, she's very original in her own way.
Her stance, moveset, and many "small" details... such as her walking animations, are noticeably different from Morrigan's. ^o^ That's not the only small details we're talking about, either. (They're part of her design!) In gameplay and artwork, Lilith's personality is exceptionally distinguished. Morrigan might get all the attention, but Lilith
adds a lot to the personality and world of Darkstalkers.
Lilith's persona is particularly more "childlike" over
her sister's. She also has more colorful mannerisms over her sister. Capcom obviously wanted to make Lilith "stand out" from her sister as much as possible... so they cleverly have her a smaller chest size, contrasting the rather "busty" Morrigan. This contrast between the 2 designs has always been clever and entertaining, in-game and in
artwork! Lilith was an instant classic when she debuted in Darkstalkers 3 and probably never got all the attention that she deserved! If anything, her moveset could be slightly more innovative or interesting.
