TEKKEN 8 Will Appear at The
Game Awards '22
|

|
|
 It
has been confirmed that a new TEKKEN 8 trailer will debut at
next week's live show during The Game Awards
'22 — which takes place next week on December 8th, 2022 at
5:00pm (PST). Last week,
we pointed out the subliminal messaging within Game Awards host Geoff
Keighley's recent tweet promoting the upcoming live event, with "D8"
representing the event's date but also heavily hinting TEKKEN 8's
presence at the show. Yesterday, Aris from AvoidingThePuddle tweeted a
photo of a package he received in the mail, which contained a medium sized
t-shirt with the TEKKEN 8 logo and a box stating "tune into
The Game Awards Livestream". (Apparently, the Medium is too small for
Aris.)
The Game Awards live show will be streaming Dec. 8th at 5:00 pm (PST)
on Twitch at Twitch.tv/thegameawards.

8 earlier this week, IGN sat down with producer Katsuhiro Harada to talk
about the highly-anticipated next installment of the TEKKEN franchise.
There are some interesting takeaways from IGN's 90 minute interview, including
Harada stating that "all models and everything from TEKKEN 7 have
been totally discarded".
