Toshinden
Collection Coming to Consoles and PC in 2027
|
|
|
|
Developed
by Tamsoft, the pioneering 3D weapons-based fighting game launched
alongside the dawn of Sony’s original PlayStation (PS1),
serving as a massive technical
showcase for what polygonal hardware could
achieve. The series is celebrated for its one-of-a-kind anime art
style and colorful cast of characters. Publisher
Edia
has officially
announced Toshinden
Collection
is coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 next year.
Recently showcased at
TGS '26 and other major events,
the compilation brings back the core classic trilogy that defined an
era of arcade and console
3D fighting games.
According to official announcements from Edia, the Toshinden Collection
bundles three games with new features, including: Battle
Arena Toshinden (1995/1994): The title that introduced players to Eiji
Shinjo, Kayin,
Sofia, Duke,
Fo, and trademark mechanics like rolling, side-stepping, and
fierce weapon-based combat. Toshinden 2 (1996): The blockbuster sequel that expanded the
roster, refined the graphics engine, and tightened up the gameplay speed. Toshinden 3 (1997): The expansive follow-up that pushed the
PS1 hardware further with a massive character roster and new battle dynamics.
Toshinden Collection is scheduled for a worldwide release in
2027. Players will be able to experience the trilogy on PlayStation 5,
Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (via Steam). Keep it

Fighters Generation for more fighting game news.
