Bandai Namco Updating Logo and "Purpose" in 2022

Bandai Namco announced they will be updating to a new logo, effective April 2022. The original Bandai Namco logo first appeared in 2005, representing the "fusion" of the two companies. "Our current logo expresses the fusion of Bandai and Namco that was created when the companies integrated. It will be replaced with a new logo that reflects our new purpose," said the company. Bandai Namco's new slogan, "Fun for All into the Future," is matched with a pink speech bubble motif, or "Fukidashi" in Japanese, expressing the potential of the brand to connect with people around the world and inspire them with amazing ideas. It's currently unknown if Bandai Namco's 2022 logo will replace the original one seen during the iconic TEKKEN Project opening cinematic featuring Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama in future installments. The current logo is 3D rendered into the animation and uses shadowing effects, so it wouldn't be as simple as a "cut & paste" to implement it into future TEKKEN games. I guess we'll have to wait until TEKKEN 8 to find out...
