Mortal Kombat (2021) Releases April 23

  

15 days before its original release date, April 14th, 2021, Warner Bros pushed back the Mortal Kombat (2021) movie to April 23rd. The postponement was announced only a day before the release of "Godzilla vs. Kong" on HBO Max, as Warner Bros decided to space out the potential blockbusters and avoid cannibalizing ticket sales. Warner Bros is also "anticipating" capacity restrictions in movie theaters to be lifted soon, which could potentially lead to higher ticket sales and success. Once again, the new Mortal Kombat movie releases on HBO Max and in theaters simultaneously on April 23rd, 2021.
