No KOF XV Trailer Tonight, New Fan Art from Capcom's Takayuki Nakayama Instead

SNK confirmed there will be no KOF XV reveal tonight, with the next character trailer debuting next week on Wednesday, June 23rd. That hasn't stopped Street Fighter series Art Director (and SoulCalibur series motion capture actor) Takayuki Nakayama from continuing the KOF XV fun with his latest "fan" illustration. The friendly Capcom Vs. SNK rivalry is still going strong, and it's a great thing to see. Since there's no mystery character silhouette to interpret this week, Nakayama decided to draw 5 SNK characters inside the KOF XV logo itself those characters being John Crawley, Lee Pai Long, Jack Turner, Ryuhaku Todoh, and Mickey Rogers... all hailing from the Art of Fighting series.

The punchline is... none of these characters ever had a playable appearance in a KOF title. Nakayama is basically telling SNK not to forget their roots! (And we couldn't agree more.) Stay tuned on Fighters Generation for KOF XV news.
