Chinnen, formerly
called Thin Nen, is a reoccuring character in the Power Instinct
series. He is a Buddhist monk from Kosei Seizan, China. His design could be
described as a parody of a monk, as he is really a violent individual with
obscene desires. He is a religious man who studied ancient rituals to gain
mystic powers. He will do anything to get what he wants, whether it's money,
food, or women. He claims to fear nothing and is opportunistic and greedy. In
spite of this, he is not an evil person and he will sometimes speak to his
opponents in a Zen-like fashion. With a greedy motivation, Chinnen
participates in the Goketsuji Tournament to get his worldly desires granted.
