Saizo Hattori is a Ninjutsu practitioner from Japan who does not display his emotions. He is a very shy person and when he's not wearing his helmet he tries to keep his face hidden. Saizo entered the tournament to continue the tradition of the martial arts school of his father. After losing in the first tournament, Saizo realized that he had a long way to go in order to become a real ninja master. Cheered up by an old friend of his grandfather, Saizo is willing to put forth his best efforts to win and learn the most from his battles.
