The
Mishima Zaibatsu started a war against the world. The rise of the G Corporation
opposition resulted in a global trail of carnage. In the fray, a large portion
of the Zaibatsu's special military unit, the Tekken Force, defected from the
organization.
Lars Alexandersson led the coup d'etat and became a ranking officer in the
Tekken Force at a fairly young age due, in part, to his renowned physical and
mental ability. Despite this high rank, Lars often fought on the front lines,
which made him quite popular among his subordinates. Only he knew the fact that he drew the Mishima bloodline through his father,
Heihachi Mishima.
Even Heihachi was not aware of this piece of information.

At first I had mixed feelings
about Lars, but I quickly became a fan. Both his moveset and attire are quite
"superhero-esk," which is a unique character archetype for Tekken.
Lars's flashy and acrobatic fighting style is a nice contrast to the more traditional
martial arts styles
in the series. His style & movements also have a Mishima "aura"
about them, but he noticeably adds his own touch of coolness
and finesse to all of his moves. His fighting style is dynamic and fluid, yet
he hits as hard as you'd expect from a Tekken character. Just to state
the obvious, Lars's hair is completely ridiculous... but somehow it's not too unbelievable
considering other hairstyles in Tekken. At the end of the day, Lars is yet another badass
that lets his fighting abilities do most of the talking. On a side note, one of his
alt. costumes closely resembles the X-Men
costumes from the live action films, and even more ironic is that he even
performs one of Mystique's moves from the first movie (forward flip kick)...
quite accurately I might add! ;)
