Panda

BIO:

Panda is cared for at
Ling Xiaoyu's high school. To participate in the tournament, Xiaoyu moved to the Mishima Polytechnical School in Japan. Heihachi taught Panda "Advanced Bear Fighting" so that she could act as a bodyguard for Xiaoyu during the tournament. Although Kuma is fond of Panda, Panda dislikes him and keeps her distance.

After the last Tournament, Panda accompanied Ling back to Mishima High School. Since then, Panda spent her days training with Xiaoyu. On some days, she wondered (just a little) about the whereabouts of Kuma, who disappeared after the Tournament. One day, two years after the Tournament, Xiaoyu, lost in her thoughts, told Panda about the announcement for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4. After hearing Xiaoyu's concerns about the Tournament and the Mishima Zaibatsu, Panda made up her mind to become Xiaoyu's bodyguard once again.

Panda took part in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 in the form of Xiaoyu's bodyguard. Panda was relieved to learn Heihachi Mishima still lived, but only briefly... her moment of relief past by quickly without notice with the sudden announcement of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. Bound by duty, Panda finds herself once again propelled into harms way.

Who's gonna hate on Panda? You're a terrible human if you hate Pandas. You think Pandas don't belong in hand-to-hand fighting games? You think Pandas can't fight? Go fux with a full-grown Panda at a zoo. I want to see the video of your mauling on YouTube, so don't forget to record it, tough guy. ^o^

I guess one bear in Tekken just wasn't enough. Easy & smart palette swap for the wows. More interestingly, in Tekken 4 Panda actually got a legit canon storyline. Gotta love Tekken for doing this, especially when other makers of fighting games (Sega for one) can't even think of a real storyline for their human fighters. Buuuuuuuuurn. With Panda, Namco demonstrates yet again that animals and Tekken can coexist peacefully... or not so peacefully. Either way is fine with me.

I think Kuma has more personality though. I always pick Kuma over Panda. He's the original G-bear. Anyhow, don't you dare miss Panda's epic animations page below!
