Elliot is a British high school student and uses the fighting style Xing Yi Quan. He likes to play the harmonica as well. Eliot was born in Britain and moved to China as a child. Although it's unknown why, Gen Fu chose Eliot as his apprentice and trained the boy in the art of Xing Yi Quan. When I first saw Elliot in DOA4, I thought he was a pretty uninspired character. Besides a decently-animated fighting style, there's not a whole lot behind his design that hasn't been done before in other fighting games. Elliot just seems thrown in with the rest of the cast to break up the monotony of big-breasted boobie chicks. I mean come on, Elliot even totally looks like a girl, especially in DOA4... Itagaki and the DOA designers can't even get females out of their minds when creating male characters? I thought Elliot's new outfit in DOA: Dimensions and DOA5 was much better than his original attire, and the design was getting somewhere... but then they gave Elliot his worst outfit ever in DOA6. So wack. lol. His fighting style has been fleshed out a bit over the years... but it's still mostly "been there, done that". For comparison's sake, Leo is definitely more exciting as a design visually and in terms of fighting style / animation. Elliot is basically Leo with a terrible fashion sense and from a less-exciting game. Sorry to all 3 of you Elliot fans on this Earth, but it's true.
