At a younger age, Cassandra was an orphan and traveled the streets with Oni. Oni was a fighter, and during a particular street fight, he was badly beaten. Afterwards, Cassandra seeked out Elias for help, a preacher. Elias took Oni and Cass into his own care. He noticed that Cass had suffered from autism, and he helped her control her energy, in order to battle it.

Visually, she's a pretty hot design. I think her skimpy outfit design is cool and pretty original... yet borderline pornographic. lol. To me, Cass looks like she's from some weird anime (one that I normally wouldn't watch), but I'd probably check it out because of this chick's outfit. lol. At first glance, Cass doesn't look like a "fighting" type of character at all. Can she even move properly in that outfit? lol. There's no "clear" reason why she has such a weird clothing style... but whatever, she's no less skimpy than your typical Mortal Kombat "stripper ninja".

As a default ROTD character, she doesn't quite fit in with the "vibe" of the iconic Double Dragon series. However, it was cool to see the devs trying something different for the series. Sadly, most of her animations and moves are pretty plain and uninspiring. If she was a bit "darker" of a design or had greater powers / animations than she does, she would've been more interesting.
