Announces KOF '98 Athena Asamiya Statue, Darkstalkers Lilith

the fiery kunoichi Mai Shiranui, Athena
Asamiya from her appearance in The
King of Fighters '98 was announced by Kotobukiya as their latest SNK
character statue. Arriving in Summer 2023, Kotobukiya's Athena Asamiya
statue is, unsurprisingly, another gorgeous and highly-detailed statue
joining their Bishoujo or "beautiful girl" line. As SNK fans
know, Athena is notorious for changing up
her attire in nearly every KOF installment to date, so Kotobukiya's Athena
statue is a nostalgic treat for KOF '98 fans who appreciate her '98
outfit. Without further ado, enjoy this brand new official concept artwork of KOF '98 Athena by
illustrator Shunya Yamashita.
