Skullgirls: 2nd Encore Comes to Nintendo Switch Tuesday, October 22nd
An "instant cult classic" 2D fighting game series is finally making its way to Nintendo Switch. A version of Skullgirls was originally announced in July 2018 and
slated for release last year, but was mysteriously delayed until now. Publisher Skybound Games announced today that Skullgirls: 2nd Encore will be available for purchase on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 as a digital title. The official Nintendo product page
confirms the digital Switch version of Skullgirls: 2nd Encore will cost $24.99
and has a 5.3 GB file size.

A limited run
physical version of Skullgirls: 2nd Encore for Nintendo Switch is also now available for pre-order from Skybound for $49.99. This version includes a deluxe vinyl soundtrack and Joycon skin.
[UPDATE #2] In a recent
blog post, Skybound also confirmed that the Xbox One version has been delayed indefinitely due to "unforeseen development and production challenges".
