	JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Release Date Trailer, Demo, 4 New Characters Announced

  

Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment dropped a new trailer for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R which announces the release date and reveals 4 new characters for the enhanced title coming to consoles and Steam this Fall. The confirmed new characters are Speedwagon, Pet Shop, Mariah, and Diego Brando. These four newcomers will be joined by five additional new characters when JJBA: All-Star Battle R drops on September 2nd, 2022. Bandai Namco also announced an early access PS5 / PS4 demo of the game which is "coming soon". Deluxe and Collector's editions of the game were also revealed (scroll down for more details). Watch the official release date trailer courtesy of Bandai Namco Entertainment America, below.        Bandai Namco announced a Standard Edition as well as a digital-only Deluxe Edition containing the following content: Animation Special Event Color Set, Season Pass, Season Pass Bonus featuring 2 exclusive costumes / character early access, and the digital version of the game. A Jolyne Cujoh costume will also be included as a pre-order bonus for the Deluxe Edition. See the image below for a closer look at the Deluxe Edition and its included content.   Also announced was a Bandai Namco Store exclusive Collector's Bundle featuring a 10" Jolyne Cujoh statue. The Collector's Bundle also includes all of the Deluxe Edition content. All editions of the game will be available on September 2nd, 2022.   CONFIRMED MODES:  All Star Battle Mode, Arcade Mode, Online Mode, Versus Mode, Practice Mode, and Gallery Mode. The main mode, All Star Battle Mode, features not only clashes between characters from the original game, but also new battles that are unique to All Star Battle R. You can play through over 100 battles with various settings and conditions. This mode also offers special cosmetic skins for characters and unique illustrations that can be enjoyed in Gallery mode. DETAILS:  This title is based on the All Star Battle fighting system that was released in 2013. The game design of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R reinvigorates the experience with adjustments to the fighting tempo and the addition of hit stops and jump dashes. With new audio recordings from the Part 6 anime voice actors, the full atmosphere of the animated series is realized. Both fans who have played the original All Star Battle and newcomers will be able to enjoy the experience.       JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2013 with 41 playable characters. The new R version will feature a total of 9 new characters. As stated earlier, this year marks the series' 35th anniversary of the original story and the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation. Once again, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R releases for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on September 2nd, 2022.
