Yumi made her first appearance in Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus. A third-year student and the leader of the Gessen Girls’ Academy elite shinobi. Her grandfather Kurokage was a rival to the legendary ninja Hanzō. She lost her parents when she was young, so Kurokage raised her along with the other Gessen girls. Her fighting style combines traditional Japanese dance with ice-based Ninja Arts. Despite her outwardly icy appearance, she holds a big sister's love for her teammates. Now that Kurokage has passed away and left her in charge, she strives to lead with a firm but gentle hand.
