Tsukikage's
"Awakening" was induced by drugs, but as they were prototype catalysts,
that also caused him severe mental problems. Because of this, the ERD
prescribed drugs to suppress his anxieties. However, thanks to the continuous
mutation of his body, he soon developed a tolerance to drugs and his mind and
body may collapse at any time. Having escaped from his holding cell, now he
enters to the tournament looking to take revenge against Ell Blue and his
organization.

Aside from having
the obvious "gothic J-Rock" vibe going on... Tsukikage is definitely reminiscent
of Freeman from Garou: Mark of the
Wolves. And we're not only talking looks, but definitely some of his attacks
as well. Tsukikage likes to use his girly nails and violently scratch his
opponents, just like Freeman. Overall, he's got some really cool animations and
a defined in-game persona.
While some might be quick to call him a "knock-off" and move along, as
a Garou fan, I think it's pretty interesting that a
"Freeman-inspired" character even exists. Although it defines him...
his teal default color scheme is a bit stange. I think he'd look a lot cooler
dressed in all black... like a proper goth. ;) On a side note: His alternate
attire is a bit more "original" and also pretty cool.
