To me, Jacqui comes
off as a natural, yet easy and "safe" MK character design. As
Jax's daughter, she doesn't really have to stand out as super-original. While Jacqui shares a familiar fighting style and attacks similar to her
father's, she also has quite a few of her own unique attacks & specials
that her father never dreamed of doing. On that note, her fighting style is
definitely pretty cool and "fits" with the MK series... but on
the flipside, I'd say other styles in MKX definitely outshine her's in
terms of flashiness and coolness.
Appearance-wise and personality-wise, I think Jacqui ended up being a bit stale and under-developed in MKX. As with a few other MKX characters, her concept
art looks better than her in-game model. Lastly, her face rendering is notably bad in MKX. She looks like a generic PS2 character... NRS still can't get female faces right. Soooo, they decided to completely change her face in MK11 to look like a completely different person. lol. Her face definitelylooks better in MK11... but...
"Consistency? What's that?" ~NRS ...lol. Also, I'm really not sure about her MK11 Buzz Lightyear-looking armor. Didn't know Ed Boon was a Toy Story fan. Now you can't unsee it.... You're welcome. :)
