day, this beautiful woman is known as "The Purple Pupil", but by
night, she returns to her real appearance: A Fox spirit. Ameth has been
training for centuries to achieve her goal of becoming immortal, although
unfortunately for her, she has only a few more months left to achieve her
evolution, since the Millennium Date is near. On one occasion, led by her
instincts, she witnessed a fight between
Yan and
Ell Blue, and learned about
the Xuan Dou Tournament. Thinking that it was a great place to train and
achieve her metamorphosis, using her female charms she managed to steal a
ticket and enter the tournament.

Ameth is a really
pretty design... especially in gameplay. Her design is elaborate, and all those
details even translate over to her actual character sprite, which is pretty amazing.
I'd say she's one of the best characters in the game to show off Xuan Dou Zhi
Wang's awesome graphics engine and 2D sprite style.
As a design, she seems to take inspiration from Morrigan,
Rose... and maybe even a little I-No
mixed in. And no, I'm not being a smart-ass and talking about her boob size!
^o^; Not at all. Shame on you for suggesting so (if you did). Simply put, I'm referring to her moveset and animations. In that sense, she
does take notes from several great fighting game gal designs... and the end result is a pretty cool
character. I'd say she's one of my favorite characters from XDZW, probably my
favorite female from the game.
