Master made her first and only appearance in Battle Arena Toshinden 2, as the unlockable final boss and main antagonist of the game. She has been described as being both male and female in the various versions of the game, but due to her gender being given as female in the original, this is generally understood as being her true one.

She is the highly psychic leader of a criminal organization known as the Secret Society. She had many bodyguards, the most notable ones being Chaos, Cupido, Gaia and Uranus. However, when Gaia illegally held the first Toshinden tournament in order to gather other fighters to start a rebellion against the increased corruption of the organization, Uranus marked him for death. When Master was informed of this, she held the second Toshinden tournament in order to draw Gaia out into the open, using Uranus as bait. However, she and Uranus were slain themselves at the end of the event by him and the rest of the participating fighters.
