At first glance (DMC1), I scoffed at Dante's "Santa Claus" color scheme. I wasn't sold on the coolness of Dante at first, but he grew on me in DMC2/DMC3. Somehow I knew Dante would become an "instant classic" Capcom character... and it was only a matter of time before he found his way to a crossover Capcom fighting game. To state the obvious, Dante's a cool design on all levels and his DMC3 incarnation was a great pick for Marvel VS Capcom 3.

Dante has a ridiculous amount of moves in MVC3... and he's arguably one of the "coolest" characters to ever appear in a VS Series title. His fighting game debut stayed surprisingly true to his DMC3 moveset as well! He's got some downright beastly combos... and props to you if you can connect some of his more advanced ones. Keep it stylish! For the record, I actually like the "new" Dante in DMC (2013). While I can respect classic "Dante "as a design, I actually think the series needed a rebirth of some sort. And indeed, DMC is one badass game (actually the first Devil May Cry game I was interested in enough to purchase at launch).
