he consults the shaman of his tribe who tells him to head east to fulfill his
destiny.

So I guess SNK
realized that there really weren't any Native Americans in the Samurai
Shodown series. A character like Black Hawk seems like natural fit for the series... but his appearance just seems forced. He doesn't even appear to have a role in the storyline; it just seems like he was added to the game last minute.
Double Tomahawks too? Too much Chief
Thunder inspiration going on here. As a traditional design, he's not too
bad... but SNK definitely could've made him more exciting on so many levels.
