Django awaits visitors in the back of the ruins. He is a mystical creature seeking a mysterious force. A veil of mystery shrouds him.

In Final Fantasy VII
, Seto was revealed to be the father of protagonist, Red XIII. (Django's alternate 2P color also resembles Red XIII.) Due to their visual similarities, its speculated that Django and Seto might be related or possibly the same character. In Final Fantasy VII, Seto was turned to stone by evil creatures, while Red XIII believed that his father fled and left his mother to die when Cosmo Canyon was under attack. Seto running to a spot that was unprotected helped save Cosmo Canyon.

Some of Django's moves in Ehrgeiz are named after Final Fantasy characters, including Seto. Some of Django's move names are as follows: Seto Punch, Seto Combo, Titan Head, Hades Bite, Nanaki Kick, Nanaki Combo, Tail Leviathan, Chocobo Kick, Bahamut Kick, Ifreet Bite, Shiva Attack, Straight Fang, Tupon Flash, Fang Brand, Phoenix Roll, Biting Bahamut Zero, Mega Flare, Giga Flare, Knight Round Rollin.

Django retains the "spirit" of Red XIII of Final Fantasy VII... I love the subtle fan service of Django's moves being named after Final Fantasy VII characters. Fan theory: I think he's Seto's brother, or perhaps Seto in disguise. Maybe we'll find out in Ehrgeiz 2: Django Unchained!  ^.^

Anyway, he's a pretty cool design for a doggo... low poly count and all.
