Street Fighter V "Rejected" Costumes & Final Character Concepts Artwork

Capcom's CFN Portal recently posted new concept art showing "secret" rejected alternate costumes for several characters, along with some "final" character concepts for the current cast. Even though these designs were canceled, Capcom mentioned that they could still make the cut to the game if they receive enough fan request for them. [UPDATE #1] Added new "secret" costume concept artwork for Guile, Ken, Laura, Birdie, M. Bison and F.A.N.G.

BIRDIE  -  "FORMAL"

No Capcom comment currently available.

M. BISON  -  "PIRATE"

No Capcom comment currently available.

GUILE  -  "SHERIFF"

No Capcom comment currently available.

KEN MASTERS  -  "SAFARI"

No Capcom comment currently available.

F.A.N.G.  -  "Kung-Fu"

No Capcom comment currently available.

LAURA MATSUDA  -  "PLAIN CLOTHS"

No Capcom comment currently available.

CHUN-LI  -  "PANDA"

Capcom's Comment: "She's like a stuffed animal. How cute. We had this in Street Fighter X Tekken, too, you know? Panda costume."

NASH  -  "ASSASSIN"

Capcom's Comment: "Nash is enveloped with an empowering armor. That looks hard... He's also equipped with a sword on his back."

VEGA  -  "CIVILIAN CLOTHS"

Capcom's Comment: "He was actually going to change into these clothes at the end of the General Story, originally. "Vega has a pretty thuggish suit, so this is a nice contrast to his."

 ZANGIEF  -  "CIVILIAN CLOTHS"

Capcom's Comment: "He's perfectly prepared for the cold. How cool. He actually seems much weirder now that less skin is exposed..."

R. MIKA -  "ARMAGEDDON YOKO"

Capcom's Comment: "This is nice. She's cosplaying her own demon coach. She just went and took those clothes without asking, so she's going to really get it later..."

ALEX  -  "SWIMSUIT"

Capcom's Comment: "That floating ring looks like it'd be extremely in the way during battle. "... Wait, can Alex not swim? Alex... Please make sure you do your squats to warm up before getting in the water."

M. BISON - "PSYCHO SHADOW"

CORRECTION: This is rejected concept artwork of an alternate "super-villain" costume for M. Bison, named "Psycho Shadow".

[UPDATE #2] The above costume concept artwork for M. Bison is included in a new set of "superhero / supervillain" themed concept artwork. Check those out in TFG's August 23rd article.

In addition, Capcom's Takayuki Nakayama recently posted these "final" SFV character concept artworks for some of the original roster members. Everyone here (except for M. Bison) resembles their default Street Fighter V appearance.

We'll add additional concept artwork to this article if more is released by Capcom this following week. And remember you can check out ALL previously released Street Fighter V artwork in TFG's concept art gallery.
