Secret
Ed Boon Menus Discovered in Mortal Kombat 1, 2 & 3 Arcade

 It's
been over 2 decades since the original Mortal Kombat trilogy
released in arcades. Rumors of "secret codes" and other Easter
eggs were always synonymous with the original MK trilogy, but only
recently were secret "Ed Boon" menus discovered in MK1, MK2
& MK3. The menus can be accessed by inputting a series of
button presses, and feature various game tests & options. A Youtuber
by the name of YourMKArcadeSource recently uploaded a video demonstrating
each game's test menu.
As the uploader mentioned in
his video description, he originally thought these menus were
discovered only a few days ago... but found out that someone actually
discovered them back in October 2015. Still, discovering these after 20+
years is pretty awesome.
