 During
Capcom's digital showcase event on Thursday, the company announced major
news on titles like Resident Evil 4 Remake, Exoprimal, Mega
Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, Monster Hunter Rise, and
of course, Street
Fighter 6.
In addition to revealing actress Hikaru Takahashi as the final commentator for the
game's Real Time Commentary feature, Capcom also provided a sneak peek at
SF6's final character select screen at launch as well as the
game's stage selection screen. A total of 18 characters have
been confirmed for launch — but we can surely expect future DLC
character announcements (likely before June 2nd). Without further ado,

As
reported yesterday, Japanese actress
Hikaru Takahashi will
be joining the
Real Time Commentary
feature
as the game's eighth color commentator. The new trailer revealed by Capcom
unveils new gameplay footage of the most recently announced characters: Cammy,
Lily,
and Zangief. The
trailer (below) presents two different match-ups, both matches showing off
various new
aspects of the characters' movesets.

Capcom
also announced the company will celebrate its 40th anniversary this June,
and part of the celebration will be a "digital theme park" called
Capcom Town. When it goes live on June 12th, a digital museum
called Capcom Town will be available on the official teaser
website. More details coming soon...

Street
Fighter 6 releases June 2nd, 2023 on PlayStation 5,
PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Stay tuned on Fighters
