Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade Playable at JAEPO 2023

Capcom announced the first playable version of Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade will appear at the Japan Amusement Expo 2023 this week. The event will also feature a Street Fighter 6 exhibition set played by Street Fighter pros BC|Kazunoko and CO|Dogura. The Street Fighter 6 arcade cabinets made by Taito will be available for the public to try out at JAEPO '23 — taking place at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall on February 10th and 11th, 2023. The image below shows the Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade logo and key artwork.

[UPDATE] The first official image / photo of the Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade cabinets were shared on social media by Capcom. The photo (below) confirms the Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade cabinet has an 8-button layout, with the extra buttons likely to make it easier to utilize SF6's distinguishing mechanics such as Drive Rush and Parry.

Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade will use Taito's NESiCAxLive service, which enables players to connect their Capcom IDs to carry over their purchased content between the arcade and console versions (a system also used in the arcade version of Street Fighter V). Stay tuned on Fighters Generation for more Street Fighter 6 news.
