 1 year ago today, Nicalis released their unique crossover 2D fighting game featuring characters from a variety of indie game IPs, Blade Strangers. To mark the game's
first year anniversary, Nicalis released a free update (available now on PS4, Steam & Switch) with some exciting new content. The major update adds 3 new fighters, improves graphics with higher-res sprites & visuals, and adds a gameplay balance patch. The three new characters are: Aban Hawkins from 1001 Spikes, Piaa from Doki
Doki Poyacchio, and a Summer version of Kawase Umehara. Each of the new characters even has their own stage and BGM. Enjoy some screenshots and watch the official trailer below.
